Provence is one of the most beautiful region in France. Provence calls to mind sun, lavender, olive tree and rosé wine. Provence vineyards are very old and the Roman were the first to grow vines there thousands of years ago.

Provence is very well known for its rosé wine almost 80% of all wine produced in Provence is rose'. The region produces almost half of the rosé french production. However red and white wines from provence are improving and some of them can compete with the best in France.

We will cover some basic topics relating to wine appreciation. Taste and compare these wines from Provence with some great food. This is the perfect place for wine beginners to learn about wine and why it can be a life long, enjoyable experience. Experienced wine lovers can also benefit by using this evening to brush up on their wine knowledge and tasting skills. There is always something to learn about wine.
